Questions, answered
What should I wear today?
It depends on the feels-like temperature, rain, UV and wind where you are. Use the live demo on this page: pick your city and Comfie shows the exact layers for right now. Around 70°F that is usually a t-shirt and jeans. Near 40°F it becomes a hoodie under a light jacket.
What does "feels like" temperature mean?
Air temperature alone misses how a day actually feels on skin. The feels-like number, which meteorologists call apparent temperature, folds in wind chill and humidity. Comfie dresses you for that number, not the raw thermometer. A 50°F day with strong wind can feel like 43°F, and the outfit should match.
What should I wear in 60 degree weather?
When it feels like 60°F, Comfie suggests a t-shirt with a hoodie, jeans and sneakers. Above 62°F a long sleeve alone works. Add an umbrella if rain is likely. The app also shifts this for your body: if you run cold, a 60°F day dresses like it's a bit chillier.
Is Comfie free?
Yes. Comfie is free with no ads. Weather data comes from Open-Meteo, an open weather service.
Which phones will Comfie run on?
iPhone and Android, both. Download it free from the App Store or Google Play.
Does Comfie work in my city?
Yes. Comfie works for any city worldwide with the same forecast quality. Type your city into the demo to check it right now.
How is Comfie different from a regular weather app?
A weather app hands you numbers and a sky icon, then leaves the decision to you. Comfie makes the decision. It reads six weather signals, scores every clothing layer for warmth, and hands you the finished outfit. The app then learns how warm or cold you personally run and adjusts.
